Had fun creating some veggie bugs for a birthday celebration last week!
Winter can get long, dark, and cold in our northern climate, but there is also lots to celebrate and enjoy, especially for our family. We celebrate the return of the light, the holidays, and many many birthdays! It lifts the mood to gather and share good food, company, laughter, and joy. I also try and soak up the quiet, dark nights sitting in front of the fire, since once the season really gets rolling there are no nights off!
That time is close. The transition out of winter slow down has begun...and honestly, I'm not sure I'm ready yet! :)
