I realize we've been pretty quiet online for the last month, but that's because life has been pulling our attention elsewhere. Fall farm work & harvest, winter prep, multiple trips, annual Bryndlewood Halloween party, and birthday celebrations to name a few!
We were grateful for the mild fall and have been continuing to harvest some beautiful veggies. The late fall cauliflower has been delicious and we even managed to get another small crop of radishes and green onions. You can find all these vegetables on the menu at The Pines Restaurant as our weekly deliveries continue!

While we are still heating two of our tunnels, the rest have been pulled and prepped for winter! Fences removed, water lines stored, chicken manure laid, and a final till so they are ready for spring planting. (Which is only a short 4 months away!)
I was able to go on a dream trip to Sonoma & San Francisco in October with some amazing friends. A few highlights of the trip were visiting Kanzler Vineyard for an incredible wine tasting experience, eating at Alice Water's (pioneer of the farm-to-table movement!) restaurant Chez Panisse, and visiting the Conservatory of Flowers & Japanese Tea Garden in San Francisco. Breauna from Kanzler even hooked me up with a friend and I got to visit a local farm! Truly a wonderful experience to get to learn from others.

Lastly, we have eggs! Lots of them!
It looks like we will have a nice supply for the near future, so add us back on to your shopping list.
