Potted Bush Basil
You will probably see something new to you in this box. It's something we are growing for the first time on the farm. Escarole, pictured above in the first photo. It's a delightfully bitter green, used fresh or sauteed, belonging in the chicory family. If you are not a fan of bitter, try cooking it with garlic, olive oil, & a little lemon juice!
When you pick up your farm box in the fridge, don't forget to grab your potted bush basil on the table next to the money drop box!
