Transitions
The change of pace with the rain and clouds the last few days has been greatly welcomed. I always feel like an overcast day gives you permission to take a moment to slow down and have a quiet day. We are in the midst of big transitions and the reset feels nice. We are approaching fall, the start of school, darker days, and prepping for some fun events at the farm. (More on that to come;)
All of those things mark a change in focus. As crazy as it sounds, we are still planting though! Some quick crops like spinach, radishes, turnips, and lettuce are going in this week. At the same time, some crops are slowing down & getting tired so we are starting to pull some beds out. Don't worry...the tunnels are still bursting full with lots of beautiful vegetables so our season still has a couple months left!
Our market season will probably come to a close soon though. Next weekend could potentially be our last day at the GR Farmer's Market. We make no promises after Labor Day! :) We will decide week to week if it makes sense to attend, but online ordering will continue throughout the fall.
