Wow it's HOT!!!
What a crazy couple of days...and it doesn't look to be cooling off anytime soon. The heat is hard on everyone around here, plants and humans alike! With temps in the mid 90s, the tunnels are well over 100 degrees. We've been worried about our cool loving crops, but even peppers and tomatoes suffer in this kind of heat. Fans have been blasting around here and we are so thankful for our irrigation system. With hot temps many things have been put on hold (transplanting, harvesting, weeding) because it is simply too hot to work. We are hoping for a little bit of relief soon so we can get back on task.
This week we do have a few new treats for you. Broccoli, kohlrabi, and radishes!
We are also excited to say we are bringing back the FARM BOX this season!
A bountiful box of produce that changes week to week.
First box for June 9th pick up will be filled with:
- Broccoli
- Radishes
- Bag of Mixed Lettuce
- Red & Green Scallions
- Kohlrabi
- Kale
- 1 Dozen Eggs
- Oregano & Sage Plants

You can also still order a la carte. We will have limited quantities of broccoli, kohlrabi, radishes, lettuce, chard, kale, onions, and of course Eggs!
And do not forget...we of course have PLANTS! Tomatoes, peppers, pumpkins, herbs, flowers, and more. We just added some beautiful impatiens and we have some really fun grasses to give your pots a pop of excitement!
