September has arrived and with it came cold, clouds, & rain! Vegetable growth has slowed down, but it's not done yet! We got our peppers planted very late this season and they are just coming into their prime. Our third round of broccoli is ready and oh so sweet. The cabbages are getting big and the tomatoes are still plugging away.
We have a few Farm Boxes available this week filled with all of these goodies!
Contents of September 10th Farm Box:
Kale
Broccoli
Cabbage
Kohlrabi
Jalapenos
Sweet Pepper
Tomatoes
Cucumbers

Patzoldt's Peaches got a shipment of Bartlett Pears at the end of August and there are still a few boxes left. Pears are great because they ripen & sweeten off the tree, which means they last a really long time in the fridge! Take a few out every couple of days to ripen on the counter and enjoy them for over a month.
Approx. 20lb box of pears: $58.00.
Half box : $30.00
These will be available to pick up at the farm on Wednesday.
